Cool Shield – Data Center Under Floor Plenum

Cool Shield under floor air plenum for data centers is an air barrier to block or channel CRAC unit supply or return air to maximize cooling efficiency. Located under the raised floor, the plenum rated material easily attaches to the support structure of either the raised floor pedestal or ceiling plenum. The lightweight blanket like material can bend to any angle to conform to nearly any configuration. It can be easily cut to size and to allow penetration of piping or cable trays.

The Cool Shield Plenum is specifically designed to be located within fire rated return air plenums areas by preventing flame propagation and smoke development. The material is also an excellent insulator for further cooling efficiency.
