The Cool Shield Double Sliding Door system is designed for all-around efficiency. Most importantly, it seals the end of aisle entryways to prevent supply and exhaust air from mixing. Employing aisle containment doors are a key component in maximizing the cooling efficiency of a data center.

Superior design efficiency results in a solution that is sturdy, installs easily and performs well. Tubular steel vertical supports and header provide a rock solid frame for the doors. Factory assembled track system allows for minimal on-site installation time. The header features integrated threaded channels along the top and rear for securing to cabinets, threaded rod or upper containment system.

Finally, the Cool Shield door system is very efficient in terms of cost. Designed to incorporate as few parts as possible, there is minimal labor required in the fabrication of the doors. Each door is packaged as efficiently as possible to prevent over-size charges and minimize on-site storage requirements. Doors assemble in less than one hour to minimize installation time and cost.

Optional extension panels provide sealing for aisles wider than 52″.   With panels installed, Cool Shield Double Sliding Door system can contain aisles up to 100″.  Extension panels have a clear twin-wall polycarbonate insert with high light transmission and feature a ASTM e84 fire rating.
