Self Supported Aisle Containment

Heavy-duty vertical posts for self-supported aisle containment are installed above cabinet containment, eliminating the need for mounting to cabinets or ceiling.

Cool Shield Matrix Posts provide the cornerstone foundation for a variety of aisle containment functions. The heavy-duty, octagon-shaped posts support fixed or sliding vertical panels, flexible strips, ceiling panels, cable trays and hinged doors. This incredible versatility allows for containing nearly any type of aisle, including ones with very high ceilings or other challenges.

The sturdy posts support the upper containment to eliminate the need to provide support from the server cabinets or from the ceiling. Shorter aisles (16 feet or less) only need posts at the end of each. Longer aisles may need additional support posts within the rows. The vertical supports at the end of the row can double as the frame for single- or double-hinged doors resulting in an efficient and cost-effective solution.

The Matrix Posts feature eight sides, with threads for attaching screws to each of the sides. This allows for exceptional functionality such as adding hinges, supports for cable trays, barrier panels, cross bracing and much more. Cool Shield channel can be used between posts to frame vertical panels or hang flexible strips.
