DCR Releases New Web Site

Data Center Resources Homepage

Estero, FL – Green data center initiatives, reducing energy costs, increasing productivity and accommodating higher density loads are all top priorities with data center managers across the world. Data Center Resources, LLC (DCR), recently completely overhauled their web site ( https://datacenterresources.com) to reflect this industry focus on improved efficiency. “Our web site has been essentially the same for the last seven years but so much has changed in the industry over that time. We are very excited about our product offerings and this new site better reflects what we are all about”, says Rick Berendes, one of the company’s founders.

DCR was an innovator in the current trend in aisle containment with their Cool Shield vertical strip solution. That product line has expanded into other ultra efficient cooling offerings including containment pods, under floor baffles and low cost blanking panels. In addition to these proprietary products, the new site features best-of-breed offerings from leading manufacturers. One example is the Cool inline module which boasts up to 25 kW cooling in only 8 inches of linear floor space. Other unique cooling solutions include water-cooled cabinet doors, fan-assisted chimney ducts, high-density cooling cabinets, cable seals and high performance floor tiles.

Rack power distribution has long been a specialty at DCR. The new site provides a higher focus on high-density solutions and advanced features, such as outlet level monitoring. However, these high power units are not just for blade servers. “We like to use ultra high-density rack PDU’s to distribute power to multiple enclosures. This practice can save companies thousands of dollars on cable runs and panel board space”, claims Kevin Macomber, Power Engineering Manager at DCR. UPS systems with up to 99% efficiency, power bus ways and space saving panel boards are among the other innovative power solutions offered on the new site.

In addition, the web site features inventive solutions for data center monitoring, device management, capacity planning and a brand new modular data center solution. “The way the market is now, if you can’t show an ROI of 3 years or less, no one pays attention. If a product does not meet that criteria, it is not going to be a part of our offerings”, says Berendes.

Data Center Resources, LLC is a leader in providing power, cooling, monitoring and management products and services for the critical data center space. The company develops unique proprietary solutions and also serves as a direct distributor for many of the industry’s largest manufacturers. Customers include the federal government, state and local agencies and many of the world’s largest corporations.
